Hey, if anybody knows something at ALL about ENR racks and why they don't talk to each other, DO NOT hesitate to e-mail me NOW!! It's the 7th of November 1999, and we have a show in a week and a half, and the second of two racks is the only one we can co trol. (Do systems die after 10 years of service?) Not a console problem, maybe a dimmer module problem, I'm at a loss. HELP!! Thanks!

I'm new to DMX (about six hours ago I was asked to design a two channel low wattage dimmer to the DMX standard which I have never heard of before!!) and this site rocks. Thanks for all the useful info, I'm well on the way to understanding the system and have several ideas on how to implement it using either dedicated hardware or a microcontroller based system. If anyone has a schematic/pcb/code for this simple app, plesae do not hesitate to contact me (alastair.jamieson@paradise.net.nz) - yes I realise that there is heaps of talk re: pcbs in the message threads, however this seems to be for complex systems.

verry good page.... and use the terminator it's importent !!! p.s. martin has a stepdriver tester which can also test our dmx-cable without the table connected and it's cheap to... now i still have to find some page's with the lee's and other lightling stuf.. AVOLITES IS THE BEST
